Some years ago, we have been cheered up by a trend of hairy armpits in China. They don’t stop there. A moment later, they held the armpit selfie contests for women who have bushes under their arms. Well, it seems that it is not the peak of the trend. We then see even the weirder. It’s (growing then) dyeing trend!
Yes, dyed underarm hair is trending now. Especially for the eccentric women. Not just in China, but also in the West. See Kelly Osbourne, Pink, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and few other stars publicly showed at least once to support this new fashion. It’s Armpit 3.0 trend.
Only the unconventional entertainers dares to dye their underarm hairs. However, no matter how controversial they are, they did not just do it. They trimmed well the forest, bleached, then dyed them. They also used glaring colors.
Logically, if you choose dim colors instead of the bright one, people will see it as natural color of your armpit hair only. You fall in Armpit 2.0 trend then, ha-ha!
So, if you want to do this, don’t just do it half way. To get even more awesomeness, dye also your head hair with the same glaring color. So if your underarm hair is green, then make it green too up there. Next, wear a sleeveless top. Come on, what good are dyed armpits when you just hide them all the time.
What also important is the character. You have to be a fun, easy going, and proactive woman to come to this dyeing decision. Can you imagine a mourning introvert grow and dye her underarm hair? Naaaah… That would be a huge mistake in fashion!
Finally, will this trend be long-lasting? It’s hard to predict. But right now, the number of women who do it are getting bigger. They believe, the dyed underarm hair (not just growth armpit hair) reflects the distinctive quality of vigorousness, freedom, difference, and bravery. Mm, do you buy it?
